Redemption 6.0 brought many of the big guns from Street Outlaws out to Tulsa Raceway Park to take on the no prep surface and take a shot at some big money. Of course, as always, there were some pretty big names calling each other out for grudge races for some big bucks as well. One of those races featured two of the biggest names from the Street Outlaws franchise when Daddy Dave and Kye Kelley lined up. If you think back, Dave was the only member of the 405 crew to outrun Kye on the street back in one of the first Cash Days races shown on the show. Since then, Kye and his Shocker Camaro have had the OKC crew’s number, beating Big Chief three straight times on the street. At Redemption, Dave would exact a measure of revenge by once again besting Kelley. Daddy Dave’s Goliath 2.0 Chevy II – complete with its new ProCharged engine combo – and Kelley’s nitrous-fed third gen Camaro left together, but around mid track, the Shocker would lose traction and drift out of the groove. You see the nitrous flames go out when Kye has to shut it down as Dave races ahead and takes the win and the cash!
